"As I was going to St Ives" is a traditional English-language nursery rhyme in the form of a riddle. The earliest known published version of it comes from a manuscript dated to around 1730.
“Rock-a-bye Baby” is a nursery rhyme and lullaby. The words first appeared in print in Mother Goose’s Melody (London, c. 1765), possibly published by John Newbery (1713–1767).
“Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” is a popular English lullaby. The lyrics are from an early 19th-century English poem by Jane Taylor, “The Star”. The poem, which is in couplet form, was first published in 1806 in Rhymes for the Nursery, a collection of poems by Taylor and her sister Ann.
